FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Tickets

How do I receive my ticket?

After your payment is confirmed, your digital ticket is emailed to you with a unique code. You can also find it any time under My Account. Check your spam folder if it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes of confirmation.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No. Showing the code on your phone is enough. If your battery tends to die at concerts, a printout doesn’t hurt.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Tickets are not nominative unless the event says otherwise: whoever presents a valid, unused code enters. Never share your code publicly — each code works exactly once.

I lost my ticket email. What do I do?

Log in to My Account to re-download it, or contact us with your order number.

Payments

How can I pay?

All prices are in bolivianos (Bs). We accept QR bancario (scan and pay from any Bolivian banking app) and bank transfer, paid directly to the event organizer’s official account. Payment instructions appear at checkout and in your order email.

When is my order confirmed?

QR and transfer payments are verified manually (the organizer together with our team), usually within a few hours and always within 24 hours. Your ticket is issued at confirmation. If an event sells out before your payment is verified, the full amount is returned to you.

Is it safe to buy here?

Every event is published by a verified promoter and you pay into their official account registered on the platform, with your order documented on metalticket.org — not into a stranger’s account over direct messages. Your entry code is unique and validated at the door.

Refunds and cancellations

The event was cancelled. Do I get my money back?

Cancellation refunds are the responsibility of the event organizer — MetalTicket is an intermediary that facilitates the sale. Write to us with your order number, we forward your request to the organizer and, if they approve it, we facilitate the reversal through the same payment method. Details in the Refund Policy.

The event was postponed. Is my ticket still valid?

Yes — your ticket is automatically valid for the new date. If you can’t attend, a refund depends on the event organizer’s conditions: write to us and we forward your request. Details in the Refund Policy.

I changed my mind. Can I return my ticket?

As a rule, tickets are final sale unless the event is cancelled or postponed. Exceptions are at the promoter’s discretion — write to us and we’ll ask.

At the door

What do I need to get in?

Your ticket code (on your phone or printed) and your ID card (carnet de identidad) for age-restricted events. Staff scan or check your code against the attendee list; once used, a code will not work again.

Someone is selling MetalTicket tickets outside the venue. Should I buy?

No. A code that has already been scanned is worthless. Only buy through metalticket.org.
